And much more to follow!
The Large Letter Postcard List is ready to use. It printed up nicely for me at 14 to 19 pages per section. Am already filling in the Condition/Have column on mine. I am using Barr's list of Postcard Grades for Condition. They will be added to the Large Letter Postcards List. (M-Mint, NM- Near Mint, EX - Excellent, VG - Very Good, G - Good, AV - Average, PR - Poor & Space Filler). I have a few more ideas for this Database. I would hope this will make it user active. If you have cards not on the list I would like to add them here. A Stock Number, Publisher, State or City on the card, A Price Range if you know one. E-mail Subject Large Letter Postcards to s.neill@postcards-postal-history.com
I have several areas of interest in postcard collecting. Views of Miami-Dade County, Florida, is one of my main topics. Old cards of Arch Creek and Lemon City are of particular interest. But also Miami River, Biscayne Blvd. I also collect Postal History. DPO's, RPO's, cancels, and more. On topicals, I look for things from Lanton, Missouri and Dentville, Mississippi. Also Coast Guard items and square rigged sailing ships views. The latest addition is Large Letter Postcards which is a very interesting and a much collected subject.
It is so good to be back. I hope to make up for my down time. One problem was Yahoo switching to Aabaco as web hosting service. I am not an IT person and things with maintenance etc. of computers is like learning greek. It looks like I am now up and running and will be able to do the part of computers I love, working on my web site.
Am so glad to be back!
